I am an established professional that have strong interpersonal, leadership and operations management skills. These skills were strengthened through (i) supervising 31 full time staff and 20 short-term technical assistance (STTA) consultants under the role of Deputy/Acting Chief of Party for the USAID-GA Project; (ii) overseeing 11 international and national consultants under the role of Task Lead/ Landscape Coordinator for the ADB administered GMS-CEP; (iii) supervising nine national development specialist/consultants under the role of Sustainable Livelihood Adviser for the SUFORD; and (vi) managing 12 staff under the role of Executive Director for the Consultative and Research Center for Natural Resources Management (CORENARM).
At the national and regional levels, I employed the “Thinking and Working Politically through Applied Political Economy Analysis” to get long and change from within. At the program/ Project level, I applied the strength-based approach to management to enable our project and clients to improve their performance. Depending on the specific nature of project’s team members, I decided to apply the Coaching, Transformative, Collaborative, Participative, or Consultative Management styles. With very efficient and productive results, I was honorably granted with a nickname “Mr. Fixit” from my former boss under the GMS-CEP administered by ADB.
